Edition 2025 — Fête de la Cerise
The Fête du Terroir et de la Cerise de Malemort-du-Comtat 2025 took place on June 29th in this Provençal village between Comtat and Luberon. A market of cherry producers, gourmet tastings, musical entertainment, and popular traditions enlivened the village square in an authentic and convivial atmosphere.

2025 Edition — Cherry in the spotlight in Comtadine Provence
On June 29, 2025, Malemort-du-Comtat celebrated the cherry and its terroir during a festive and convivial day in this perched village of Comtadine Provence. The village square was adorned with colorful stalls, red baskets, and the aroma of jams and clafoutis to welcome producers, artisans, and visitors.
Local cherry growers presented their finest harvests: fleshy Burlats, juicy Summits, late and sweet Reverchons. Visitors could taste fresh cherries, as well as artisanal preparations – jams, liqueurs, tarts, ice creams – made with fruits from nearby orchards. The best clafoutis competition brought together amateur cooks and families in a gourmet and friendly competition, won by a village resident.
Folk and musical entertainment, in Provençal costumes, enlivened the afternoon in an authentic village festival atmosphere, recalling the vibrant popular traditions of Comtat Venaissin.
