La dolce vita at the Port de Plaisance for the Fête Nationale de Nogent-sur-Marne
Nogent-sur-Marne celebrates the Fête Nationale on July 13th at the Port de Plaisance with an evening dedicated to "dolce vita". Jazz and pop-rock live concerts, a pyrotechnic show by Fêtes et Feux with dancers at 11 PM, and a DJ set until 2 AM. A free and festive event in one of the most beautiful towns on the Marne river in Val-de-Marne.
Nogent-sur-Marne is one of the most charming towns in Val-de-Marne, known since the 19th century for its guinguettes, its riverside dances, and its reputation as a Sunday pleasure spot for Parisians. The Fête Nationale is celebrated here with an elegance and creativity that perpetuate this festive tradition on the banks of the Marne.
The Port de Plaisance de Nogent is one of the most picturesque sites on the banks of the Marne. With its moored boats, its terraces, and its sparkling waters, it provides the ideal setting for a festive evening. On this evening of July 13th, the Port transforms into a popular celebration space that brings together thousands of Nogentais residents and visitors attracted by the reputation of the event.
The 2025 Fête Nationale is themed around Italian dolce vita – a nod to Franco-Italian friendships and the Mediterranean festive spirit. The evening opens at 7 PM with the group Minuit Bleu, whose jazzy-pop repertoire creates a warm atmosphere conducive to conviviality. As night falls, the Maryann Live Band takes over with its pop-rock-disco energy, ramping up the party.
At 11 PM, the highlight of the evening: the pyrotechnic show by Fêtes et Feux, accompanied by dancers from the company MKDance, offers a high-quality visual show against a dolce vita backdrop. The poetry of the fireworks combines with choreographic grace for a moment of unique collective emotion.
After the show, DJ Alba takes the decks with her funk, house, Latino, and RnB mix to extend the party until 2 AM, allowing the last Nogentais residents to return home with hearts full of this night of celebration.
The Fête Nationale of Nogent-sur-Marne also celebrates friendships with the town's twin and partner towns. The symbolic presence of the Légion Étrangère at the event recalls the celebration's attachment to its republican and military dimensions. The brasserie La Française and food trucks provide catering throughout the evening.
