Fête Nationale de Sens 2025 — July 14th
On July 14, 2025, the town of Sens (89100) celebrated the National Holiday with a complete festive program on the Place de la République and the banks of the Yonne.
Festive afternoon on the Place de la République
From 3:00 PM, families gathered on the Place de la République to enjoy the activities, games, and events offered by the City of Sens. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere prevailed until 6:00 PM, before the launch of the evening festivities.
Popular ball and republican reception
At 6:30 PM, the republican reception brought together elected officials and residents for a toast of friendship. The orchestra Entre Nous then animated a highly appreciated popular ball, with a varied repertoire of French songs, disco music, and pop hits, for a dance evening open to all.
Grand fireworks display on the banks of the Yonne
At 11:00 PM, the grand fireworks display fired from Quai Ernest Landry and Quai Jean Moulin concluded the festivities in an explosion of lights and colors, reflected in the calm waters of the Yonne. A show acclaimed by the people of Sens and the many visitors present that evening.
