Edition 2025 — Fêtes de Geaune
The patronal festival of Geaune takes place from July 4 to 6, 2025. Landaise race counting for the Challenge Landes-Béarn on Sunday, July 6 at 5 PM. Bands, popular dances, traditional games, and outdoor meals in the medieval bastide. The Taurin Club Festival is scheduled for October 19 with a meal and formal race for the Boléro d'Argent.
Fêtes de Geaune 2025
From July 4 to 6, 2025, Geaune celebrates its patronal festival in the medieval bastide of Tursan. The taurine highlight is the Landaise race on Sunday, July 6 at 5 PM, counting for the Challenge Landes-Béarn. The streets of the bastide vibrate to the sound of the 'bandas', the evenings are enlivened by popular dances, and the days by traditional games. On October 19, 2025, the Taurin Club Festival offers a meal at 12 PM (€18, registration at 06 08 58 61 01) and a formal Landaise race at 3:30 PM from the ganadería Laurent Deyris, with the presentation of the 2026 cuadrilla for the Boléro d'Argent.
