The Horse, Theme of the 2025 Festival

The 2025 edition of the Fetes de la Tarasque was held from Thursday, June 26 to Monday, June 30, 2025 in Tarascon, under the theme The Horse, the great cavalcade of the Tarasque — Man's noblest conquest!. Five days of festivities animated the town, between medieval tradition, Camargue culture, and popular celebration.

The Grand Procession of the Tarasque, the highlight of the festival, took place on Sunday, June 29 at 5 p.m., with nearly 800 people in costume parading behind the Tarasque to the sound of fifes and tambourines. The knight combats at the castle of King René took place on Saturday, June 28 at 6:15 p.m. and Sunday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. The Camargue races in the arenas, the abrivados in the streets, and the bodega village set the rhythm for the evenings, while the fair and family activities welcomed young and old.
