Rion des Landes in Celebration 2025
From August 22 to 25, 2025, Rion-des-Landes celebrates its patron saint festivals with an exceptional bullfighting program. On Friday, August 22 at 9:30 PM, a formal Landes race opens the festivities. On Saturday, August 23 at 6:00 PM, a cocarde contest tests the 'écarteurs'. On Sunday, August 24, two novilladas are scheduled at 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM. The festival concludes on Monday, August 25 with a capéa at 6:00 PM and a comic-bullfighting gala at 9:00 PM. Outside the arenas, bandas, parades, outdoor meals, and popular balls liven up the village. Ticket sales open from August 9.
