About Flanders Beer Marathon Festival
The Marathon Bière Flandres Festival brings together three races through the Flemish countryside and a vibrant brewers' village at the Saint-Winoc Abbey in Bergues. Organized by L'Échappée Bière, specialists in craft beer events, the festival takes place every year at the end of September.
The half-marathon starts in Esquelbecq, while the marathon and the 13 km race begin in Bergues; all three finish at the foot of the abbey. The weekend perfectly blends sport and tasting, featuring local beer refreshment stations along the routes, as well as breweries and live music at the village on both Saturday and Sunday.

For its 3rd edition, the MB2F offers three race formats between Bergues and Esquelbecq—a 13 km circuit, a half-marathon, and a marathon—before heading to the brewers' village set up at the Saint-Winoc Abbey. Throughout the weekend, runners and visitors alike can enjoy meeting local brewers, live music, and various activities.

- 9:00 AM — Le Demi, half-marathon (21.1 km) · Start in Esquelbecq, finish in Bergues
- 10:00 AM — La Pinte, marathon (42.2 km) · Start and finish in Bergues
- 1:00 PM — Le Ballon, circuit (13 km) · Start and finish in Bergues
- 10:00 AM–6:00 PM — Brewers' Village · Saint-Winoc Abbey, Bergues
The routes wind through Bergues, Esquelbecq, Wormhout, West-Cappel, and several other Flemish villages, featuring refreshment stations and local beer tastings along the way.
