Plant Fair 2025 — October 19
On October 19, 2025, Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave hosted its annual Plant Fair, organized by the Salicaire association. With over 60 exhibitors, the event filled the public spaces of the town center with a profusion of plants, scents, and autumn colors.
A Varied Botanical Offer
Nurserymen specializing in rare plants, horticulturists offering collections of perennials and old roses, seed producers of heritage vegetable varieties, producers of aromatic and medicinal plants: the 2025 offering was particularly appreciated for its diversity and the quality of the plants offered, adapted to the climatic conditions of the Southwest.
Artisans and Creators
Potters, ceramicists, garden tool makers, and creators of decorative objects complemented the plant offerings, making the fair as much a cultural and artisanal event as a horticultural one. The friendly exchanges between exhibitors and visitors, characteristic of quality plant markets, were particularly noted.
A Highlighted Heritage Context
The setting of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, with its medieval castle overlooking the confluence of the Tarn and Garonne, contributed to making this October day a cultural and botanical outing for the many visitors from the region.
