Foire aux Vins de Quincy

2024 Edition - June 8 and 9

The 2024 edition of the Foire aux Vins de Quincy took place on June 8 and 9 in the center of the village of Quincy, bringing together 35 winegrowers from the AOC Quincy appellation to present their best vintages. The weekend attracted nearly 2,500 visitors curious to discover or rediscover the dry white wines from Sauvignon Blanc grown on the sandy terroirs of Quincy and Brinay. The free tastings allowed enthusiasts to compare the styles of different winegrowers and identify their favorites.

Several oenological workshops were offered: introduction to tasting led by a professional sommelier (15 participants per session), food and wine pairing workshop with AOC Chavignol goat cheeses (20 participants), and vertical tasting of old vintages (10-15 years) to understand the evolution of Quincy wines. The producers' market complemented the offering with charcuterie, cheeses, honey, and farm products. The friendly atmosphere, the quality of the wines, and the rich exchanges with the winegrowers made this edition a success appreciated by visitors.
