First Edition: Combichrist and Agonoize Launch Freak Frequenz
Freak Frequenz sees the light of day on October 6th and 7th, 2023 at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes, driven by Black Speech Production and Devilicious Couture. This first edition lays the groundwork for a festival dedicated to dark industrial and electronic music, with an ambitious lineup bringing together international references of the genre.
Friday is marked by the performance of Agonoize (German aggrotech), accompanied by SynthAttack, Still Patient? (French darkwave), Freak Injection, and a DJ set by K.H.H.O.. On Saturday, Norwegian-American Combichrist, an iconic figure of EBM and industrial metal, dominates the bill alongside Megaherz (Neue Deutsche Härte), Versatile, and DJ sets by Eric13. The event attracts approximately 400 people over the two days.
