First Edition: Birth of Frozen Fest
Frozen Fest was born on July 2 and 3, 2022, at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes, driven by the label and record store Frozen Records. This first edition brought together 7 bands over two evenings, laying the foundation for a festival dedicated to dark and extreme music. The lineup mixed heavy metal with Meurtrières, crust hardcore with Cavalerie, goth rock with Sang Froid, dark folk with Lisieux, and more experimental sounds with Candélabre, Epectase, and Gravekvlt.
