51st Grande Foire Agricole de Ouanne - September 21, 2025
On Sunday, September 21, 2025, Ouanne hosted the 51st edition of its Grande Foire Agricole. From the morning, farmers and breeders converged on the village with their animals — Charolais cattle, ewes, goats — for the presentation and judging of animals at Place Jean-Goutte-Toquet. In the school parking lot, an impressive array of new and vintage agricultural machinery attracted the curious and professionals.
The equestrian shows electrified the crowd at 11 am and 2:45 pm, before the highlight of the show: the float parade at 3:30 pm, animating the village streets in a festive atmosphere. Local producer stands delighted visitors with specialties from the Puisaye region. A beautiful edition for this fair which proves, after 51 years, that the Yonne countryside knows how to celebrate.
