19th Edition: 30 Groups, 100 Artists, 15 Communes
The 2025 edition of Hibernarock marked a new milestone with 30 groups and over 100 artists programmed in 15 communes of Cantal from February 1 to March 8, 2025. The festival offered 16 concerts, exhibitions, a blind test, conferences, and numerous complementary events over 20 days of programming.
Astral Bakers opened the festivities on February 1 in Condat, launching a particularly rich and eclectic edition. Papooz enchanted the Aurillac audience on February 7 with their sunny pop. The Bal de la Caneta, a now-essential event, got Vic-sur-Cère dancing on February 8. Vaudou Game and Ko Ko Mo brought their boundless energy, while Augusta and Lili EM confirmed the festival's flair for discoveries.
The closing was handled by Naïve New Beaters in Mauriac on March 7, offering a festive and danceable finale to this 19th edition. The festival also highlighted the local scene with Les Agités du Local and presented the children's show Doggo, an electro-pop concert for kids.
The exhibition Hiberna'Love, a photographic retrospective tracing the festival's history, and portraits of French artists by Frank Loriou enriched the cultural aspect of this edition, focused on conviviality and ecological commitment (reusable cups, local products, hearing awareness).
