16th Edition: The Yonne Rock Scene Still Going Strong
For its 16th edition, the Icaun of Rock Festival took over the Salle polyvalente of Pont-sur-Yonne on April 5th and 6th, 2025, once again bringing together amplified music enthusiasts from the Yonne department and neighboring regions. The association PYHC (Pont sur Yonne Hardcore), true to its volunteer commitment and DIY spirit, once again offered an eclectic program covering rock, punk, hardcore, and stoner.
True to its reputation as a human-scale festival, Icaun of Rock 2025 offered its spectators a rare proximity to the artists, in an intimate venue where the riffs resonate with particular intensity. The associative bar, the exchanges between enthusiasts, and the fraternal atmosphere of the DIY concerts once again made this weekend a highlight of local cultural life.
The 2025 lineup showcased bands from the French independent rock scene, mixing regional acts with groups from elsewhere, in the tradition of openness that has characterized the festival since its inception. The loyal and passionate audience responded enthusiastically to celebrate a decade and a half of DIY rock in Pont-sur-Yonne.
