27th Edition — October 16-19, 2025, Saint-Tropez
The 27th edition of the International Encounters of Antipodean Cinema was held from October 16-19, 2025, at the Cinéma Le Star in Saint-Tropez. Four days of Australian and New Zealand cinema, entirely free and open to all.
Aboriginal Art Exhibition
Alongside the film program, the Lavoir Vasserot hosted an exhibition of Australian Aboriginal art selected by Céline Emery-Demion. Paintings and sculptures from the Indigenous peoples of Australia dialogued with the films in the selection, offering a multidisciplinary approach to Australian culture.
2025 Awards
- Audience Award: "Don't Tell" by Tori Garrett
- Nicolas Baudin Award for Best Short Film: "Unspoken" by Damian Walshe-Howling (selected by the regional high school jury)
The selection also featured new feature films and documentaries representative of the richness and diversity of contemporary Australian and New Zealand cinema.
