Pentecost Weekend Dedicated to Arts and Crafts
The Journées Artisanales de Lyons-la-Forêt took place on May 18, 19, and 20, 2024, during the Pentecost weekend. The village streets, squares, and spaces hosted numerous Norman artisans and artists presenting a wide range of skills.
Visitors could discover creations in mosaic, painting, wood sculpture, artisanal jewelry, stained glass, cutlery, frescoes, zinc work, basketry, ceramics, leather goods, recycled material creations, and blown glass. Many free introductory workshops, without reservation, allowed children and adults to try their hand at stone carving, basket weaving, textile painting, stained glass, and enameling on copper.
