L'Argentaria 2025: The Festival of Medieval Cultures
On August 2nd and 3rd, 2025, L'Argentaria returned to Largentière for a new edition of its festival of medieval cultures. The castle and the old town served as the backdrop for a weekend full of activities.
The jousting tournament, organized according to the rules of the International Combat League, was the highlight of this edition, featuring spectacular melees and individual duels. The medieval ball and the banquet allowed participants to experience a culinary and festive immersion into the Middle Ages.
The artisan market brought together blacksmiths, stonemasons, potters, and illuminators. Street performances, medieval music concerts, and initiations to fencing and medieval dances animated the city streets. The medieval construction site for the castle's restoration provided continuous entertainment with demonstrations of building techniques.
