Edition 2022 — La Bamboche
The second edition of La Bamboche took place from July 6 to 31, 2022, at Parc du Poutyl. Thomas Fersen and comedian Tom Villa were the two ticketed headliners of an eclectic and mostly free program. The free concert by reggae artist Max Livio alone drew over 1,000 spectators to the Théâtre de Verdure. More than 10,000 festival-goers were welcomed, confirming the growing success of the festival.
2nd Edition — July 6 to July 31, 2022
Building on the success of its first year, La Bamboche returned to Parc du Poutyl for an even richer second edition, from July 6 to 31, 2022. The program featured concerts, theater, and open-air cinema from Thursday to Sunday on the guinguette stage and in the park.
Headliners
- Thomas Fersen — Monologues and songs at the Théâtre de Verdure (July 9)
- Tom Villa — Comedy show (July 10)
Highlight Moment
The free concert by Max Livio (reggae) drew over 1,000 spectators to the Théâtre de Verdure, exceeding the attendance of the two ticketed headliners combined. This unexpected success illustrated the power of free access and the curiosity of the Olivet audience.
The success of this second edition was boosted by exceptional sunshine, the post-Covid desire for outdoor festivities, and the free access to the vast majority of shows.
