Edition 2025 — La Déferlante
The 32nd edition of La Déferlante illuminated the Vendée coast from May to August 2025. La Déferlante de Printemps took place from May 28th to June 1st during the Ascension weekend, followed by La Déferlante d'Été from July 4th to August 31st, featuring dozens of free circus, street theater, dance, and music performances across thirteen coastal towns.

2025 Edition: A 32nd Cultural Wave on the Coast
La Déferlante celebrated its 32nd edition in 2025, confirming its status as the unmissable summer event on the Vendée coast. The season kicked off on Ascension weekend with La Déferlante de Printemps (May 28 – June 1), before unfolding throughout the summer with La Déferlante d'Été (July 4 – August 31).
Over a hundred national and international companies took over the squares, parks, and seafronts of the thirteen towns in the network, offering performances of contemporary circus, itinerant theater, dance, and music, all with free and open access.
