La Médiévale de Celon

Fourth Edition - September 7th and 8th, 2024

The fourth edition of La Médiévale de Celon took place on September 7th and 8th, 2024 in the park of the Château de Celon, attracting nearly 6,000 visitors over the weekend. The craft market featured 110 exhibitors offering ceramics, sculptures, jewelry, costumes, and medieval objects, while 5 medieval companies animated their encampments with demonstrations of blacksmithing, sword fighting, and archery. Children particularly enjoyed the introductory workshops on axe throwing and archery.

The fire show on Saturday evening, the highlight of the event, gathered over 2,000 spectators amazed by the prowess of the fire-eaters and torch jugglers. On Sunday, the equestrian demonstrations and the exhibitions of the "Lady of the Wolves" captivated the audience. The three taverns and 15 medieval catering stands delighted visitors with period specialties and traditional drinks. The warm atmosphere and the quality of the entertainment confirmed the growing success of this medieval festival.
