2025 Edition — July 4th to 6th in Rabastens

From July 4th to 6th, 2025, La Rabastinhòla transformed Place Auger Gaillard in Rabastens into an Occitan celebration open to all. The festivities began on Friday evening at 5:30 PM and continued until Sunday evening at 10:30 PM, offering three days of immersion in Languedoc culture.

The 2025 music lineup brought together some of the most representative groups on the Occitan trad scene: La Talvera, a benchmark ensemble for traditional Languedoc music, Brick A Drac with their festive rhythms, Los Escampilhats, Adara, Frezinat, and PRADEL. Each evening, the balèti gathered dancers of all levels on the open-air dance floor, to the sound of bagpipes, diatonic accordions, and hurdy-gurdies.

During the day, traditional dance workshops allowed beginners to get started and connoisseurs to deepen their practice. Children enjoyed workshops for making unusual instruments, Occitan storytelling, and adapted performances. The market of regional artisans and producers, exhibitions on Occitan culture, and the now emblematic beret-tossing tournament completed this generous program. Admission was entirely free.
