Edition 2025 — La Retornada
The 12th edition of the La Retornada festival took place from July 11 to 13, 2025, in Tence. 12th Edition - La Retornada 2025
The La Retornada festival returned for its 12th edition on the second weekend of July 2025 in Tence. True to its mission of keeping the North Occitan language and culture alive, this edition offered a rich program combining traditional music, live performances, and discussions around the Occitan language.
Festival-goers enjoyed traditional Occitan dance workshops, singing and theater sessions in Occitan, as well as conferences and debates on the future of the Occitan language and culture. Evenings were filled with balètis and concerts by traditional and folk Occitan music groups.
The local producers' market showcased regional specialties from Auvergne, while the rustic meals prepared by volunteers contributed to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the festival.
