The pyrotechnic and artistic show on the lake of Enghien-les-Bains
Lac en Scène is the great summer show of Enghien-les-Bains, organized every summer on the banks and on the lake of Enghien. Musical fireworks, water shows, light shows and artistic performances make this event an unmissable event in the Val-d'Oise. From the shores of the lake, tens of thousands of spectators attend magical evenings each year that illuminate the only spa town in Île-de-France.
Lac en Scène is the flagship summer event of Enghien-les-Bains, the only spa town in Île-de-France. Every summer, the lake of Enghien — a 40-hectare body of water in the heart of the town — is transformed into a natural stage for pyrotechnic and artistic shows of rare beauty.
The event, organized by the City of Enghien-les-Bains, offers several evenings of shows throughout the summer. Musical fireworks launched from the banks and from pontoons on the lake, water shows, light shows on the water's surface, performances by artistic companies and concerts make up a varied and spectacular program that attracts tens of thousands of spectators each season.
The lake of Enghien offers an ideal setting for these nocturnal shows. Lights are reflected on the calm water of the lake, multiplying the pyrotechnic effects and creating an enchanting atmosphere. Spectators gather on the landscaped banks, in the public gardens, or on the terraces of the riverside establishments to enjoy the show in all its dimensions.
The fireworks of Lac en Scène are artistic creations in their own right, designed by professional pyrotechnicians who compose their pyrotechnic displays in synchronization with a musical score specially created for the occasion. These "musical fireworks" tell a story, create emotions, and transport the audience into new sound and visual universes.
For many years, Lac en Scène has become an unmissable summer event for the inhabitants of the Val-d'Oise and visitors from the Paris region. The free nature of the shows and the beauty of the natural setting make it a popular and accessible event that contributes to the tourist and cultural influence of Enghien-les-Bains.
Around the show evenings, entertainment, night markets, and street concerts liven up the lake surroundings throughout the summer. Restaurants and terraces of hotels and brasseries benefit from increased attendance during Lac en Scène evenings, contributing to the economic animation of the town center of Enghien.
