Edition 2025 — Latéral Festival
Inaugural edition (#0) of Latéral Festival under the side aisles of the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium in Saint-Étienne. Created by the FZL association and the Poto Feu Records label, the festival offered a night of electronic and dub music from 9 PM to 5 AM, with two face-to-face stages: a Bloc stage (techno/house) led by Octave One live, Airod, and Mézigue, and a Dub Corner hosted by the legendary O.B.F Sound System, Mungo's Hi Fi, and Atili.

Latéral Festival #0 — The birth of a new electro-dub event
On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Latéral Festival inaugurated its very first edition under the side aisles of the legendary Geoffroy-Guichard stadium in Saint-Étienne. Dubbed #0, this founding edition laid the groundwork for a unique event in the electronic music scene of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Born from the alliance between the FZL association — known for Foreztival in Trelins — and the Saint-Étienne-based label Poto Feu Records, Latéral Festival offered from 9 PM to 5 AM an immersion into two complementary sound universes, spread across two face-to-face stages under the stands of "Le Chaudron".
Bloc Stage — Techno and House
The Bloc stage hosted a high-caliber lineup led by Octave One live, the legendary Detroit techno duo, and Airod, a rising figure in the French techno scene known for their powerful sets. Mézigue, a Parisian DJ and producer with an eclectic style blending house, disco, and breaks, brought a danceable and groovy touch. RONI and the duo Mawc b2b JPG completed the bill with energy.
Dub Corner — Sound System
The Dub Corner, a true temple of bass, was hosted by the colossal O.B.F Sound System accompanied by singer Sr Wilson, an essential reference in the European dub scene. Mungo's Hi Fi, the Scottish collective, electrified the crowd alongside singer Eva Lazarus. Atili, an emblematic voice of French reggae-dub, Esaïa live, and Claudien completed an exceptional dub lineup.
This first edition confirmed Latéral Festival's ambition to become a major event for electronic and sound system culture in the Loire region.
