Le 46ème Rugissant

2018 Edition: Hip-hop, Dance, and Africangungungu

The 2018 edition of Le 46ème Rugissant was held on Friday, March 23rd, at the Espace François-Mitterrand in Figeac, offering an evening rich in musical and artistic discoveries. The lineup brought together four complementary artistic universes, from poetic hip-hop to the captivating rhythms of South Africa.

Monsieur 6000 & Dakota opened the evening with their poetic hip-hop, blending sharp lyrics and catchy melodies. Cécile Grassin from Cie Appach presented a contemporary dance performance, adding a visual and choreographic dimension to the event. Chill Bump, a hip-hop duo, delivered an energetic and inventive set. The headliner, B.C.U.C. (Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness), an unclassifiable South African group, closed the evening with their Africangungungu, an explosive fusion of traditional Zulu rhythms and punk energy.
