Edition 2025 — Festival Voyageur

The 3rd edition of the Festival Voyageur was held from December 5th to 7th, 2025, at L'Embarcadère. Seven films by traveling filmmakers were screened, five of them in the presence of their directors, taking spectators from the Alps and paragliding to a cabin in Alaska, through the Kyrgyz steppes on horseback, Afghanistan, and Benin. The Raconte-moi la Terre travel bookstore was present, and a special "Femme Liberté" evening was organized.

3rd Edition — December 5th to 7th, 2025

The Festival Voyageur returned for its 3rd edition from December 5th to 7th, 2025, at L'Embarcadère. A journey to the four corners of the world, from the Alps and paragliding to a cabin in Alaska, via the Kyrgyz steppes on horseback: the festival offered three days of cinematic escape.

Seven Films, Five Directors Present

This edition featured seven films by authors, five of which were accompanied by their directors who came to share their passion for travel and cinema with the audience:

  • La Paralpine by Guillaume Funck — A film about paragliding in the Alps
  • À perte de vue by Pierre Petit — Screening-encounter with the director
  • Une française à Kaboul by Charlotte Erlih — The daily life of Afghan women, presented during the special "Femme Liberté" evening
  • Le Village de Kenou by Niek Nicolaes and Herma Darmstadt — Voodoo in Benin
  • Three other films completing the program, exploring cycling to Dharamsala, sports passion, and adventure in Alaska

Special "Femme Liberté" Evening

One of the highlights of this edition was the "Femme Liberté" evening, dedicated to the film Une française à Kaboul by Charlotte Erlih, the director present to discuss the condition of women in Afghanistan with the audience. This special event evening had a specific price of €12.

Bookstore and Conviviality

The Raconte-moi la Terre travel bookstore was once again present with a selection of travel books, adventure stories, and guides. The « homemade » bar and gourmet food accompanied festival-goers throughout the weekend.
