True to its spirit of a human-sized festival, this edition offers an eclectic program mixing French chanson, rock, world music, and electro, under a big top and outdoors, in the heart of the Chartreuse massif.

Le Grand Son 2025
The 2025 edition of Le Grand Son will take place from July 17th to 20th in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, in the majestic setting of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park. The festival continues its mission as a mountain eco-festival by offering a rich and varied program over four days of music.
True to its DNA, Le Grand Son combines French-language chanson, contemporary music, rock, and world music in a friendly and intimate atmosphere. Concerts will take place under the main big top and in various locations throughout the village, allowing spectators to discover established artists and emerging talents in an exceptional natural setting.
The off-festival will liven up the village streets with free concerts, street performances, and activities for all ages. Children's workshops and artist meet-and-greets will complement a program designed for the whole family.
The eco-responsible approach remains at the heart of the project with short-supply-chain catering, exemplary waste management, and sound level control that respects the mountain environment.
