Le Guiers fait son Cirque

7th Edition — Saint-Laurent-du-Pont, June 13-14, 2025

The seventh edition of the "Le Guiers fait son Cirque" festival set up camp in Saint-Laurent-du-Pont, an Isère commune nestled at the entrance to the Chartreuse massif. For two days, the Salle du Revol and its surroundings were transformed into a true circus village, welcoming spectators of all ages in a festive and warm atmosphere.

A Quality Program

Seven professional companies presented varied shows blending contemporary circus, aerial arts, clowning, fire, and live music. Friday evening was marked by L'Aviatrice by the Compagnie 3 Secondes, a poetic aerial performance, followed by Zone à la Dérive by Solfasirc, a creation by the organizing company. On Saturday, the audience enjoyed 23,26° by L'Instable, Boîte de nuits by La Toute Petite Compagnie, Ôde à l'ennui by Les Petits Détournements, and ISO360 by Cie La Tête sur les Étoiles. The day concluded spectacularly with Flame, a fire show by Cie Les Rois Singes, which illuminated the Chartreuse night.

Saturday Morning Workshops

On Saturday morning, from 10 am to 12 pm, introductory workshops in circus arts were offered to children, teenagers, and adults: aerial circus, silks, acrobatics, music, and visual arts. These workshops, led by Solfasirc artists, allowed the public to get acquainted with circus disciplines in a friendly and supportive environment.

Camaraderie and Sharing

True to the festival's spirit, this edition emphasized encounters between artists and spectators, with convivial moments around the community refreshment stand and local food. A violin band provided musical entertainment between the Saturday afternoon shows, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere in the streets of Saint-Laurent-du-Pont.
