Traveling circus arts festival in Chartreuse
For its eighth edition, the festival « Le Guiers fait son Cirque » continues its journey through the Guiers valley and will set up its big tops in Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont, a border commune between Isère and Savoie at the foot of the Chartreuse massif. On May 29 and 30, 2026, the town's school, gymnasium and outdoor spaces will host a rich and varied program of contemporary circus shows, dance, theatre, live music and a closing folk dance.
Several professional companies are announced for this edition. Friday, May 29 will open in the late afternoon with a dance show Un Cil sur la joue, the theatre piece Pagaille, the show Les Petits Riens, then Pour aller où ? by the compagnie K-Bestan.
Saturday, May 30 will be entirely dedicated to circus arts and family shows. A musical and circus parade will kick off the day at 10:15 AM, followed by shows throughout the day: Vue d'ailleurs by Cirkaêtre (a troupe of young circus artists from Chartreuse), Le Petit Plumo by La Remueuse, Lustrina Circus by the Compagnie Sifo, Contes Tziganes by the Cie la Vagabonde and 16 Mesures de Nœud by the Cie Les Voleuses de Flaques.
