The multidisciplinary and itinerant festival of North-Isère
Since 2013, the Festival 100 Détours has been a must-attend event on the cultural scene of North-Isère. Born from the energy and passion of the JASPIR team (Jeunesse Animation et Spectacles Pour Investir la Rue) and its volunteers, this multidisciplinary and itinerant festival has established itself as a unifying event that irrigates an entire rural territory by offering quality shows accessible to the greatest number.
The uniqueness of the Festival 100 Détours lies in its itinerant nature. Each edition is different as the festival chooses to invest new places and villages around Saint-Jean-de-Bournay, allowing everyone to discover culture in all its forms. The festival stops in several towns in North-Isère: Saint-Jean-de-Bournay, Culin, Nantoin, Artas, Commelle, Villefontaine, Bourgoin-Jallieu and La Côte-Saint-André, transforming village squares, community halls, and natural spaces into ephemeral stages.
Over ten days in September, the festival offers more than 25 shows covering a wide range of artistic disciplines: theater, music, street arts, circus, puppetry, storytelling, clowning, humor, visual arts, performances, and cinema. The program skillfully blends shows for young audiences, general audiences, and concerts, giving pride of place to both emerging local artists and established national artists.
True to its values of popular education and cultural democratization, the Festival 100 Détours offers numerous events with free admission or pay-what-you-want, making culture accessible to all audiences. The prices for paid shows remain deliberately modest, ranging from 4 to 25 euros depending on the event.
The festival is committed to a responsible and supportive approach. It favors local partnerships with volunteers and associations in the area, sources local and artisanal products from regional producers, implements waste sorting and composting, uses reusable cups, and encourages carpooling and public transport.
The Festival 100 Détours is supported by the association JASPIR, founded in 2002, which manages La Fabrique JASPIR, a place for exchange, artistic creation, and training located in Saint-Jean-de-Bournay. A true cultural third place, La Fabrique offers artistic workshops, shows, creation residencies, and professional training throughout the year. It is from this permanent dynamic that the Festival 100 Détours is born each year, the result of collective work between professionals and passionate volunteers.
The Festival 100 Détours returns for its 13th edition in September 2026 in the towns of North-Isère around Saint-Jean-de-Bournay. Still driven by the JASPIR association and its volunteers, the festival will continue to invest new places and villages to offer a rich and accessible multidisciplinary program.
True to its itinerant and participatory identity, this new edition will once again mix theater, music, street arts, circus, puppetry, storytelling, clowning, humor, visual arts, and cinema, with a particular focus on emerging local artists and original creations. Many shows will be offered with free admission or pay-what-you-want.
The full program and the venues for this 2026 edition will be unveiled during the summer on the festival's official website and social media. Ticket sales will open shortly thereafter.
The festival is based in Saint-Jean-de-Bournay (38440), in North-Isère, but the shows take place in several surrounding towns. The precise locations are communicated in the program for each edition. The central reception and information point is located at La Fabrique JASPIR, 178 impasse du Pré de la Barre, 38440 Saint-Jean-de-Bournay.
Free parking is available near the performance venues. The festival encourages carpooling to minimize environmental impact.
The Festival 100 Détours stands out for its very accessible pricing policy:
Tickets are available online on the Yurplan platform and on-site before each performance, subject to availability.
A bar and light catering are offered at the performance venues, with local and artisanal products from regional producers. The festival favors short supply chains and eco-responsible practices.
The festival strives to make its events accessible to all audiences. Some outdoor venues may have limited access for people with reduced mobility. Do not hesitate to contact the festival team in advance for any questions regarding accessibility.
