On Friday night, the musical showcase puts emerging amateur bands in the spotlight. Saturday afternoon is dedicated to an open stage and two masterclasses: guitar with Florent Passamonti and drums with Martial Marzoukou Macauley. The Saturday evening concert features Yarol Poupaud, former guitarist for Johnny Hallyday and FFF, alongside Trigones+, a band discovered at the Koodshow showcase four years ago, now touring as the opening act for Indochine in major arenas.

Friday, October 2nd (doors open at 6:00 PM): Musical showcase, free admission.

Location: Salle de la Vallonnière, 260 rue des Prolières, 69270 Cailloux-sur-Fontaines.
Access: 15 minutes from Lyon; by car via the A46, exit 3 Villars-les-Dombes; by bus, line 77, stop Mairie de Cailloux-sur-Fontaines.
On-site: Bar and light refreshments, motorcycle parking, and dedicated parking for people with reduced mobility (free entry for companions).
Please note: Animals, umbrellas, DSLR cameras, Camelbak-style backpacks, and outside drinks are not permitted.
A festival born from a musicians' association
The Koodshow Live festival is organized by the KOODSHOW association, a non-profit founded in late 2016 in Cailloux-sur-Fontaines, in the Rhône region. Every year, around fifty volunteers—musicians and live music enthusiasts alike—bring this 100% indoor event to life, focusing on funk, rock, soul, blues, and pop.
A springboard for amateur bands
On Friday evening, the festival kicks off with a free musical showcase designed to provide amateur and emerging bands with professional stage conditions alongside established artists. This very stage helped launch the band Trigones+, who now perform as opening acts for Indochine in major arenas.
A concert night on Saturday
On Saturday, the afternoon is dedicated to an open stage and instrument masterclasses, followed by a concert evening featuring established artists. According to the organizers, the 2026 edition marks the festival's 9th year.
