"Commandos Jazz" and Summer Highlight in Parthenay

The 2024 edition of Le Jazz bat la Campagne deployed its "Commandos Jazz" throughout the Pays de Gâtine from May to August, taking over barns, bistros, gardens, and village squares for free and friendly concerts. The summer highlight took place in July in Parthenay, on the banks of the Thouet, with a program mixing jazz, blues, funk, and world music.

True to its philosophy, the festival offered numerous intimate musical encounters in unusual locations in Gâtine, bringing live music closer to the residents of the region. The catering based on local produce and the warm atmosphere under the plane trees of Place de la Nation confirmed the unique identity of this committed rural festival.
