8th Edition — Confirmed Popular Success
The 8th edition of Le Printemps des Rillettes took place from March 15 to 23, 2025, offering 129 events throughout the Sarthe department. The edition brought together over 40,000 visitors and generated one million press and internet contacts, confirming the festival's growing reach.
The opening took place on Saturday, March 15, in Connerré, at the former Prunier factory, with the traditional recipe contest organized by the Confrérie des Chevaliers des Rillettes sarthoises. Rillettes Day, the world day of rillettes, was celebrated on Thursday, March 20. The grand closing was held on Sunday, March 23, with the 2nd Trompe-Goule World Cup, a spectacular and festive competition in Place des Jacobins in Le Mans.
