The free board game festival of Val d'Europe near Disneyland Paris
Le Val des Jeux is the annual board game festival of Val d'Europe, organized by the association La Vallée des Jeux in partnership with Val d'Europe Agglomération. Every year in November, the Éric Tabarly gymnasium in Serris is transformed into a huge play area welcoming over 5,200 visitors over two days. With over 260 games to discover, 50 professional publishers, tournaments, a prototype competition, escape games, giant games, and a second-hand game market, Le Val des Jeux has established itself as one of the main board game festivals in Île-de-France. Admission is completely free.
Created in 2019 by the association La Vallée des Jeux, Le Val des Jeux has become in just a few editions an unmissable event for board game enthusiasts in Île-de-France. Located at the Éric Tabarly gymnasium in Serris, just a few minutes from Disneyland Paris, the festival benefits from a strategic location that attracts a family audience from all over the Paris region and beyond.
Le Val des Jeux offers an exceptional gaming experience: over 260 board games are available to visitors, supervised by 130 volunteers ready to explain the rules and start games. More than 50 publishers and game professionals are present to showcase their latest releases, from family games to expert games. The festival welcomes both casual players and strategy game enthusiasts in a friendly and accessible atmosphere.
Beyond the free play of games, Le Val des Jeux offers a program of various activities: tournaments with prizes, a prototype competition allowing creators to have their developing games tested, tabletop escape games, giant wooden games, and a second-hand game market to buy or sell games at low prices. These diverse activities make the festival much more than just a game fair.
True to its values of accessibility, Le Val des Jeux is completely free. The festival is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days of the weekend, allowing families to come and play at their own pace. Supported by the association La Vallée des Jeux with the backing of Val d'Europe Agglomération and the City of Serris, the festival benefits from over 30 partners and a network of passionate volunteers who ensure the quality of hospitality and activities.
The 7th edition of Le Val des Jeux is expected in November 2026 at the Éric Tabarly gymnasium in Serris. This free board game festival will again offer over 260 games, dozens of publishers, tournaments, escape games, and a prototype competition.
