12th Edition — World Music Under the Écrins Big Top
The 12th edition of the Les Envoyageurs festival took place on August 29 and 30, 2025 in Vallouise-Pelvoux, concluding the summer in style in the heart of the Écrins massif. Six bands electrified the big top over two evenings: on Friday, Cherikoko and its festive West African rhythms, Soa Bomba in a Latin-cumbia fusion driven by powerful brass, and Ambre with captivating modern pop. Saturday evening featured Slim Paul Trio with deep-rooted blues, Monty Picon with a high-energy rock brass band, and Hugo Kant with a fusion of trip-hop, jazz, and world music.
During the day, the companies Panatheness and Sans Blague presented circus and street shows, while an artisans' market and family activities enlivened the village.
