Edition 2023 — Médiévales de Neufchâtel
2023 edition of Les Médiévales de Neufchâtel-sur-Aisne, on May 13th and 14th, 2023 on rue du Gué Josse and place de l'Église. Two days of medieval festivities with a camp animated by eight reenactment associations, knight fights, archery, axe throwing, equestrian show by Les Cavaliers Légendaires, fire show, dances, calligraphy, artisan market, and medieval catering.

Les Médiévales de Neufchâtel-sur-Aisne 2023
The Médiévales de Neufchâtel-sur-Aisne are back on May 13th and 14th, 2023 in the village streets. The rue du Gué Josse, closed to traffic, and the place de l'Église host a lively medieval camp animated by eight historical reenactment associations.
Les Barbiers Fous present their humorous sketches and offer axe throwing initiations. Les Loups du Mesnil bring back the Carolingian, Viking, and Hundred Years' War periods to life. Les Barbillons du Val des Sacres offer demonstrations and initiations to archery. La Compagnie du Crépuscule animates fencing workshops and presents period weapons and armor.
The equestrian show « Les Cavaliers Légendaires » by the company Art'ata performs on Saturday at 8:00 PM and Sunday at 3:30 PM with liberty dressage and vaulting. On Saturday evening at 9:30 PM, the fire show by Les Couloirs du Temps Champenois lights up the night with ten medieval characters juggling fiery elements. An artisan market with twelve exhibitors completes the event.
