Edition 2025 — Médiévales de Tonnerre
The 9th edition of Les Médiévales de Tonnerre was held on September 13 and 14, 2025, in the historic center of Tonnerre. Knights in armor, troubadours, jugglers, and medieval artisans took over the streets of the Burgundian town, with a large medieval market on Place Marguerite-de-Bourgogne and a gastronomic banquet in the 13th-century Hôtel-Dieu.

2025 Edition of Les Médiévales de Tonnerre
On September 13 and 14, 2025, Tonnerre revisited its medieval past for a new edition of its famous Médiévales. The Burgundian town adorned itself in its finest period attire, with hundreds of costumed reenactors taking over the cobbled streets of the historic center.
The medieval market, set up on Place Marguerite-de-Bourgogne and the surrounding streets, brought together craftspeople, potters, blacksmiths, and curiosity merchants. Troupes from all over France animated the event with equestrian shows, knightly combat, and costumed parades. The grand medieval banquet in the Gothic hall of the Hôtel-Dieu reunited guests and performers for a timeless evening.
