Les MilleHaches 2025: Tradition and Extreme Sport
The 2025 edition of Les MilleHaches took place on August 14, 2025, on the Plateau de Millevaches, confirming the success of this unique sporting event in Corrèze. Sport woodcutting athletes competed in the six traditional disciplines, offering an impressive spectacle to the large audience.
The sawing and axe throwing events demonstrated the strength and technical skill required to excel in this extreme sport. The 'Les Cogneurs du Plateau de Millevaches' association once again succeeded in highlighting the forest heritage of Haute-Corrèze and introducing this spectacular sport to a wide family audience.
