Les Musicales de Grasse 2025: between classical and jazz
Summer 2025 saw Les Musicales de Grasse unfold an exceptional program in the perfume city. Grasse's heritage sites resonated with concerts:
On July 3rd, the Cathédrale Notre-Dame du Puy hosted an exceptional concert featuring violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov and Franco-Canadian pianist Hélène Mercier. This prestigious duo presented a program blending Beethoven sonatas and romantic pieces in the majestic acoustics of the cathedral.
The jazz evenings highlighted pianist and composer Jo Kaïat and his trio (bass, drums), accompanied by singer Fernanda Santana. Jazz inspired by the artist's transcontinental journeys, mixing Brazilian and European influences.
The 7th edition of the Organ Festival, organized by the Friends of the Cathedral Organ, offered five concerts celebrating the 170th anniversary of the grand organ, with programs combining organ, saxophone, and trumpet.
