Musicales du Luberon 2025 — Suspended Moments
The 2025 season of Les Musicales du Luberon unfolded its 12 concerts from July 8 to October 11 across the villages of the Luberon and Ventoux, under the banner of "Suspended Moments". A theme inviting each spectator to let music suspend the course of time, in places of rare beauty.
The season opened on June 6 with a vibrant tribute to soprano Jessye Norman by the young mezzo-soprano Marie-Laure Garnier, whose magnetic voice moved the audience gathered in Ménerbes. The summer was marked by concerts by Xavier Phillips, an internationally renowned cellist, who performed on July 11 and 12 in Ménerbes and Bédoin.
In three parts—effervescent spring (3 concerts), incandescent summer (6 concerts), and flamboyant autumn (3 concerts)—the program spanned the seasons and atmospheres, offering the audience a complete and diverse musical experience. Concerts for young audiences and musical conferences complemented the offerings, true to the festival's educational and popular mission.
