Edition 2024 — Les Petites Chapelles

15th edition of the Les Petites Chapelles festival. On Sunday, September 22, 2024, the three chapels of Gétigné — Toutes-Joies, Recouvrance, and Sainte-Anne — hosted free 30-minute concerts blending Persian music, Breton traditions, a cappella singing, and baroque music, as part of the European Heritage Days.

15th edition — World music in the chapels

For its 15th edition, the Les Petites Chapelles festival offered on Sunday, September 22, 2024, a rich and varied program, inviting the public to tour the three chapels of Gétigné throughout a musical afternoon.

Program

Each chapel hosted four thirty-minute concerts:

  • Chapelle Toutes-Joies — The Iranian quartet Bambadan (Faranak Modarres, Reza Mehri, Rémi Allain, Florian Baron) presented Persian music, highlighting traditional voices and instruments, at 3 PM and 4:45 PM.
  • Chapelle Recouvrance — The Frères Paranthoen performed traditional music from Morbihan with accordion, violin, and vocals.
  • Chapelle Sainte-Anne — The Quatuor vocal Accolade offered excerpts from their a cappella repertoire. The ensemble Madamicella was also programmed.

A loyal audience

This edition confirmed the festival's appeal with over 600 spectators who came to discover or rediscover Gétigné's chapel heritage through music.
