16th edition of the Les Petites Chapelles festival. On Sunday, September 21, 2025, the chapels of Recouvrance, Sainte-Anne, and Toutes-Joies hosted a series of intimate concerts blending ancient music, revisited traditions, and architectural heritage, featuring six artistic ensembles.
16th edition — Ancient music and revisited traditions
The 16th edition of the Les Petites Chapelles festival took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, offering a program blending ancient music, revisited traditions, and architectural heritage.
Detailed program
The three chapels each hosted four thirty-minute concerts:
- Chapelle de Recouvrance — The Duo Jauvain/Grassot (accordina and guitar) presented a repertoire entirely dedicated to the baroque period at 3 PM and 4:45 PM. The ensemble Safar (vocals, oud, flute, percussion) presented ancient Mediterranean music at 4 PM and 5:30 PM.
- Chapelle Sainte-Anne — The Duo Menguy/Bérenguer (flute and guitar) performed an Irish repertoire at 3 PM and 4:45 PM. Virginie Le Furaut (harp and voice) presented her show 'Eau de l'Âme' at 4 PM and 5:30 PM.
- Chapelle Toutes-Joies — The trio Imrama explored traditional Irish music (jigs, waltzes, reels, polkas) at 3 PM and 4:45 PM. The Duo Iacob Măciucă & Simon Mary (violin and double bass) presented world music at 4 PM and 5:30 PM.
