The summer 2026 cinema event for toddlers

From June 28 to August 31, 2026, the Little Films Festival returns for its 8th edition in over 600 cinemas across France. This national event, supported by distributors Little KMBO, Cinéma Public Films, Gebeka Films, and Les Films du Préau, offers a selection of animated short films designed for the youngest viewers, from 2-3 years old.

A 2026 selection of eight programs

The 2026 edition brings together eight short film programs, including two previews, all adapted for very young audiences. The films, featuring the best of animation, combine various techniques (cartoon, stop-motion, claymation, cut-out paper) and last from 35 to 52 minutes, an ideal format for toddlers' attention spans.

In Langogne, at Cinéma René Raynal

In Lozère, the Cinéma René Raynal participates in the festival by scheduling screenings every Tuesday morning at 10:30 AM during the summer holidays. The communal cinema, located by the Langouyrou, pays particular attention to welcoming the youngest: the sound is adjusted not to frighten sensitive ears, and no trailers are shown before the film. A benevolent and protected setting to share a cool cinema moment with family on summer mornings.
