On May 11, 2024, Lubersac hosted a 'veaux sous la mère' competition organized by Groupe Altitude. About forty calves from farms in Corrèze, Dordogne, and Haute-Vienne were presented by their breeders.
The calves were judged based on conformation, weight, and meat quality criteria. The best animals received premiums and awards. This event allowed breeders to discuss their practices and showcase their expertise in quality beef production.
