37th Fête des Barques: magic on the Creuse
On Saturday, August 23, 2025, the banks of the Creuse in Lurais hosted the 37th edition of the Fête des Barques. The evening began with a concert by the band Cascabel, before the eagerly awaited show: the parade of about ten illuminated boats on the river. Each vessel, built in secret by the boat maker teams, revealed its luminous creations and ingenious mechanisms against a backdrop of original soundtracks. A grand fireworks display launched from the island and the bridge concluded this magical evening.
