Marathon des Landes 2026: see you on October 11 in Mont-de-Marsan

For its 2026 edition, the Marathon des Landes takes over the streets of Mont-de-Marsan on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The event, organized by Stade Montois Omnisports, gathered 2,520 participants in 2025 and confirms its status as a major autumn running event in the South-West.

The 2026 races

• Marathon (42.195 km): two loops of the same course entirely laid out in Mont-de-Marsan
• Half-marathon (21.1 km): a single loop
• 10 km: race open to all
• Walk: friendly and accessible version
• Marapot's Duo: marathon run as a relay by a team of two

A 100% Montois course

The route allows participants to discover the city center and its narrow streets, the Marsan greenway, the Nahuques district, the Hiroire tennis courts and stadium tour, the Boulevard Nord and its cycle path, the Belles Chaumières district, Lacaze Park, Jean Rameau Park, then the Lacataye keep and its footbridge, before a triumphant finish at Place Saint-Roch. The course, without real difficulty, multiplies crossing points between marathon runners, half-marathon runners, and 10 km runners to enhance the atmosphere.

• 08:30 AM — Start Marathon (42.195 km) and Marapot's Duo (2-runner relay)
• 08:35 AM — Start Walk
• 09:20 AM — Start 10 km
• 09:35 AM — Start Half-marathon (21.1 km)

Start and finish of all races at Place Saint-Roch, where the marathon village is set up (exhibitors, catering, entertainment, recovery area). Over 5,170 € in Intersport vouchers are up for grabs across all rankings (marathon, half-marathon, 10 km, and Marapot's Duo).
