- By car: From Lyon (1h) via the A43 exit Les Avenières, then D1516 towards Creys-Mépieu. From Grenoble (1h15) via the A48 then A43. Free parking on site.
- Note: The site is in a rural area, so a car is the preferred means of access.

The Medieval Fantastic Festival of Kern is a unique event in Nord-Isère, organized by the association Les Mondes de Kern, based in Creys-Mépieu (38510). Born from the desire of its founders to make children and adults dream in a medieval-fantastic universe, this festival offers a full day of entertainment, shows, and discoveries each year.
A full day of entertainment
From morning until the nocturnal fire show, visitors are immersed in a magical medieval universe:
- Equestrian acrobatics and training: spectacular demonstrations by riders in period costumes
- Fire shows: fire-eaters, flaming bolas, fans, and pyrotechnic juggling
- Medieval combat: demonstrations of sword and shield combat techniques
- Archery: initiation and demonstrations for all ages
- Camp life: recreation of a medieval camp with cooking, crafts, and daily life
A medieval artisan market
The medieval market brings together local artisans offering creations inspired by the Middle Ages:
