The Medieval Fantastic Festival of Kern is a unique event in Nord-Isère, organized by the association Les Mondes de Kern, based in Creys-Mépieu (38510). Born from the desire of its founders to make children and adults dream in a medieval-fantastic universe, this festival offers a full day of entertainment, shows, and discoveries each year.

A full day of entertainment

From morning until the nocturnal fire show, visitors are immersed in a magical medieval universe:

• Equestrian acrobatics and training: spectacular demonstrations by riders in period costumes
• Fire shows: fire-eaters, flaming bolas, fans, and pyrotechnic juggling
• Medieval combat: demonstrations of sword and shield combat techniques

The association Les Mondes de Kern was born from its members' passion for the medieval-fantastic universe. Throughout the year, it offers activities related to learning stick fighting, woodcraft, historical reenactment, and medieval imagination. The annual festival is the highlight of its activities, bringing together reenactment groups, artisans, and artists from all over the region.
