7th edition of the Medieval Weekend at Metallurgic Park. Two days of immersion in medieval metallurgy with bloomery furnace, blacksmithing, participatory workshops, historical fencing, tales, and a concert by Compagnie Sorga.

2025 Edition

The 7th edition of the Medieval Weekend took place on July 19th and 20th, 2025, at Metallurgic Park. On Saturday, activities ran from 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM with a concert by Compagnie Sorga at 7:00 PM, followed by a medieval meal and a fire show. On Sunday, the program extended from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The West Side Team association revealed the secrets of metallurgy with the creation of a forgeable metal bar from local ore in a bloomery furnace. De Soie et d'Or offered goldsmithing demonstrations and workshops. Visitors could try their hand at making bows and arrows, striking tin medals, and discovering historical fencing with the De Taille et d'Estoc association. Storyteller Annukka Nyyssönen enchanted the audience with tales of fire and metal.
