Three weeks of festivities on Avenue Achille Peretti
From December 6th to 24th, Neuilly-sur-Seine (92200) hosts its Christmas Market on the parvis of the Hôtel de Ville, avenue Achille Peretti. Nearly 30 artisans offer unique decorations and gourmet specialties. Each weekend, a rich program of entertainment — Santa Claus, children's shows, swing and gospel concerts, street artists — transforms the town center into an elegant winter village, in the tradition of this town near the Bois de Boulogne.
Neuilly-sur-Seine (92200), France's wealthiest town and gateway to the Bois de Boulogne, upholds a festive tradition each December worthy of its prestige. The Christmas Lights and the Christmas Market set up on the parvis of the Hôtel de Ville, avenue Achille Peretti, are among the unmissable events of the festive calendar in the Hauts-de-Seine region, combining elegance, quality, and conviviality.
For three weeks, from December 6th to 24th, around 30 carefully selected artisans offer their creations and specialties in chalets whose neat presentation reflects the town's identity. Unique decorative items, artisanal jewelry, textiles and accessories, original creations, and gourmet specialties make up an offering that meets the expectations of a discerning clientele. Visitors will find extraordinary gift ideas here, unavailable through traditional retail channels.
What particularly distinguishes the Neuilly Christmas Market is the exceptional richness of its entertainment program, free throughout the three weeks. Santa Claus is regularly present to welcome children and hand out sweets. Clowns and magicians, balloon sculptures, a storyteller, festive face painting workshops, a juggling clown, and character cosplay (Christmas reindeer, snowman, Olaf, Paw Patrol characters) continuously animate the market.
The musical dimension is particularly developed: swing jazz quartets, gospel choirs, folk bands, and classical music concerts — organized in local churches and in the Hôtel de Ville's salon — complete a program that transcends a simple craft market to become a true holiday festival.
In addition to the market, the Neuilly Hôtel de Ville offers creative workshops for children: letters to Santa Claus, making Christmas baubles, and wooden decorations. A special area in Place de Bagatelle is dedicated to distributing treats and a special meeting with Santa Claus on December 13th. These workshops, led by specialized educators, allow children to fully experience the magic of Christmas beyond simple consumption.
Bordering the Bois de Boulogne and the Jardin d'Acclimatation, Neuilly-sur-Seine offers a striking contrast in December between the winter nature of the woods and the festive lights of the town center. The Christmas illuminations adorn Avenue Charles-de-Gaulle and the surrounding streets, creating a luminous path that guides visitors to the market. This alliance between urban prestige and popular festive tradition makes Neuilly's Christmas an accessible and warm event, despite the town's sometimes intimidating reputation.
The Neuilly-sur-Seine Christmas Market returns in December 2026 to the parvis of the Hôtel de Ville for its usual three weeks of festivities. Artisans, concerts, children's entertainment, and Christmas lights in the town near the Bois de Boulogne.
