In 2025, MIDI Festival crossed the symbolic milestone of twenty editions. On the incomparable site of Olbia, three evenings brought together fans of indie rock and alternative pop around a program worthy of this anniversary: two decades of musical discoveries at dusk amidst the Greek and Roman ruins of Hyères.

The Spirit of the 20th Anniversary

For this anniversary edition, MIDI Festival aimed to pay tribute to its DNA: a program resolutely focused on Europe and the global independent scene, featuring artists who challenge genre boundaries and offer unique sonic universes. The three evenings combined established bands and emerging talents, keeping alive the festival's original promise.

A Site That Makes the Festival

The 2025 edition once again proved that the Olbia archaeological site is a key player in the festival. The fading light on the ruins of the ancient city, the whisper of the warm mistral in the pine forests, the proximity of the sea, the starry sky above the stage: Olbia transforms each evening into a total sensory experience, unique in its kind.

Twenty Years of Independent Music

Created in 2006, MIDI Festival has pioneered the French and European indie scene for two decades. Dozens of now-recognized bands began their journey on the Olbia stage. The festival remains one of the few in France to maintain such a rigorously independent program, without ever compromising commercially.
